

Born and raised in Chicago, Joe graduated from DePaul University and led a career in software sales. An avid sports enthusiast, always cheering on his Chicago home teams.
Joe was a cherished father and husband and shared many gifts that included a love and talent for music, a passion for travel and will be forever loved by so many. He had a natural talent at forging lifelong friendships and embraced humor and laughter into each day of his life.
His true passion was his family, a man with a heart of gold who will be missed endlessly.
Joe is survived by his wife Kelly Lazar, daughter Lola Lazar, sister Janice Lazar, loving in-laws, Mark (Cory) Clark, Colleen (Alex) Huxley, Katy (Tyler) Metcalf, nieces Sarah and Tenley, and nephews Kyle and Colton.
Joe was preceded in death by his daughter Scarlett Lazar, parents, Joe Lazar, Jr. and Mary Ann Lazar.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 29th, 2021 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Pacific View Memorial Park, 3500 Pacific View Drive., Corona Del Mar, CA, following mass at 10 a.m. Thursday, September 30th Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Newport Beach, CA. Interment private.
