Ken was a man of integrity, he was honorable, loyal, and spoke truth.  Only a few words in a list of hundreds that spoke to Ken’s character.
To many of us, he was a kind of Superman.  Ken cast a giant shadow.   He had a significant and lasting influence over many people.  He made a profound positive impact on those nearest to him.  Every man hopes to leave an unforgettable legacy behind when he goes and people who will remember him for the sustained  good he brought to their lives.  Ken achieved that coveted goal in a hundred different ways to hundreds of different people.  He lived with dignity and fought with dignity the cruel cancer that took him away from us.  But the cancer didn’t win.  Ken’s spirit won.  His dignity, honor, and loyalty won.  He was a brother to so many, but a true brother to our family and me.  And a true brother is never forgotten but will carry on as long as we breathe.  We will be eternally grateful for the gift of Ken in our lives.  A quiet man with a huge heart and a huge capacity to love and give generously. 

Our Love to you, Ken,  for all time, our dear, dear brother.  And our deepest love to the beautiful family you’ve only temporarily said goodbye to.  We love you each and everyone so much.  May God wrap you in his loving arms and hold you close.
Steve and Signe

Ken led me on many new adventures, from sailing on Balboa Bay to houseboating on Lake Texoma and Lake Powell. The adventure he led that I treasure the most was stepping into adulthood. My then girlfriend, now wife, Signe and I had been dating seriously for some time when we introduced Ken to her sister Susan for a blind date on New Year’s Eve, 1972. To say they hit it off is a profound understatement! By the end of that college senior year, they were engaged and 3 months later they were married. For a long time, I had sort of assumed that Signe and I would marry one day, but my attitude was, “What’s the rush?” Recognizing the uncertainties of life, Ken’s attitude was, “When you know what you want, why would you wait?” His example inspired me to reflect on my life and take the leap into the joys and responsibilities of real adulthood. Signe blessed me with “Yes,” and within 7 months we, too, were married. Being an adult was scary. I am forever grateful he led the way. Love you, Brother.

Ken loved Sue.  Sue loved Ken.  "All you need is love." The Beatles said it best.

Dear Sue and Family,
My heartfelt sympathy and daily prayers are for you all during this very difficult time.  Know that others care and are sending comfort to each of you. Feel the Love from Constance Bonanni and Family.

I have many fond memories of Uncle Ken. He was a quiet hero. It was all the seemingly small things that he did without being asked, just because he was thoughtful. From warming up the swimming pool, turning on the spa, buying zebra popcorn for me to try, or taking us on the electric Duffy boats and letting us drive! Those are just a few of my memories. He will truly be missed!!

Ken has left me with many great memories, not only of golf, but of a humble generous man. 
He taught me many things, but i remember most his respect for people and to always be kind.
I will miss him greatly

We miss you, Ken. Our friendship over 40 years has been a true gift, and the bonding between our families has been a treasure. You showed gracious kindness to the many lives you have touched. Rest in peace, Ken.....and all blessings to the Cox family.
