Larry Rodney Bemis

Larry R. Bemis died suddenly on May 10, 2016, at the age of 71 years. He was born and raised in Los Angeles, graduated from USC with a BS in Accounting and then was off to Southwestern Law School. His specialty was tax law, trusts and estates, and he practiced law in Orange County for over 43 years of which 35 years were at Millar, Hodges & Bemis. He loved telling jokes, playing golf, woodworking, and was a passionate USC fan. Larry made some beautiful furniture and toys that his family and friends will always treasure.

He was generous with his love and joy of life. His zest for life was contagious, and his romantic approach to love was so endearing. He was a loving and wonderful husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother and friend. He was always genuinely interested in your life and wanted you to be happy. He touched so many lives, and he will be missed by all of us. He is survived by Deede, his wife of 47 years; his sons, Steve, Scott and Jeff; and his grandchildren, Alexis (5), Judd (3), Cooper (2) and a little girl due in August.
