In loving memory of Margaret Ann Farley, December 24, 1971 – November 28, 2011. She is survived by her parents, Dr. Edwin and Paggy Gazsi; children, Christian, Haden, Carter and Ella and their father, Todd Farley; brothers, Thomas Gazsi (Kimberly), John Gazsi (Linda) and Michael Gazsi (Theresa); five nieces and one nephew, whom she loved dearly. A lovely graveside service was celebrated at Pacific View Memorial Park. The family deeply appreciates the outpouring of love, prayers, letters, cards, flowers and many tributes including this beautiful poem: God watched his own Son suffer and die.
Could we ever imagine that even He could cry?
A blessed Son hung on a cross
While his beloved mother wept over His loss
He spared not His own to teach us to see
That all would know sorrow, that’s how it would be
A daughter so loved, a gift from above
Taken gently away from those full of love
Not passing alone, but curled up with her child
No pain at the end, just sleep deep and mild
God knows of the hurt of a loss so great
Because He lost a child, He could really relate
She broke into a smile when she crossed to His side
With no hurt or suffering in His love she’d abide
While tears are shed freely, from those left in pain
Now she basks in the glory of His Holy Reign
Peace, wonderful peace, with grandparents full of love
Smiling and watching down from above.
Those left behind, gripped by their sorrow
Will one day be with her in an unknown tomorrow
A Christmas gift to her Mon and Dad
A perfect little girl, in pink she was clad.
Home to her brothers, someone new for their play,
Not ball games and cowboys, but dolls and ballet
Her life was so full with joy and regret
With memories so special, she would never forget
A girl with three brothers and Mon and Dad too
Love from a family is what she always knew.
She did it all, her Mom would say,
It was something different every single day
Soccer, tennis, sailing, she knew how to do,
She loved to ski, and go ice skating too.
Piano lessons from Rae, “Beethoven” each day
But she preferred playing “Charlie Brown” she would say
A volunteer helping others, going to their aid
Daughter, sister, wife, mother, all roles she had played
An entertainer par excellence, cooking non-stop
New recipes, fine décor, would make your eyes pop
Her children all blossoming under her watchful eye
Care for and loved, keeping them nigh
Opportunity knocked more than once at her door
A love of science she wanted to explore
Classes here and classes there,
Leading her right to a dental chair
Working, assisting Dad, was great employment,
But she wanted more for her own enjoyment
Soon to more schooling, and a degree in décor,
Decorating everything from ceiling to floor.
Marriage and children completed her dream
Four gifts from God fulfilled her it seemed.
Christian, Hayden, Carter and Ella arrived one by one
Each a child of perfection, making life such fun.
Driving kids around to their school and their play
Team mother and snack provider, on the run everyday.
Hardly time for a moment to rest
Loving her kids, she was the best.
Non were ready to say their good-bye
The shock wa so great, the only response was to cry.
But released from her life, she watches those below
Each one whom she loves, drenched by their woe
She smiles at each face that loved her so dear
Knowing there’ll be a day when her greetings they’ll hear.
She’ll wait right there, till each ones’ time to die
Then all will embrace again, under God’s watchful eye.
Good bye, Dear One
Be adorned by God’s peace
You live in our hearts
Our love will not cease.
