Mary Kay was a kind and gentle soul who was our neighbor for a while. Her daughter and my eldest son went to preschool together so we knew each other through our children first. She was a brave women who fought cancer with positiveness and won for many many years. We will remember her always and wish her family peace. Love the Weinsteins

Mary Kay and I were friends from the University of Illinois. There was a big group of us from our dorm and she was one of the leaders. I will never forget the time that a bunch of us were trying to sneak into football stadium "after hours." We got busted and somberly climbed down from the ledge, one by one. The atmosphere was extremely tense. As Mary Kay came down, she cheerily said: "Good evening, Officer" and cut right through all that tension. Her charm and humor came through for us. That was Mary Kay for you.

Mary Kay was a friend to all and had the kindest most loving heart. I will miss her shining smile, sweet way, and bright eyes. When she walked into a room it instantly lit up and she sparkled. She never met a stranger and treasured her many friends, and loved her animals. I will miss her kindness, friendship, and know she is watching over us all. Rest in peace dear friend.

We adored Mary Kay and our so saddened by her passing. She was THE kindest, sweetest woman...The best neighbor! She always came across the street with See's candies for our daughters for holidays. We will miss seeing her beautiful smile & wave as she tended her flowers and hearing stories about her daughter at UCSB. We are out of the country right now and are heartbroken to miss the service of Mary Kay. May she rest in peace.
