     I met Mary about 1994, and I've never known anyone quite like her.  I worked with her on projects for the Orange County GOP and served on the executive committee with her for a couple of years. 
     She was an inspiration, and she was there for me, to console me or root me on, depending on the situation.  
     I have many special memories of Mary.  One time I was at a convention of the California Federation of Republican Women, and I didn't have anyone to share a room with, so she invited me to stay with her and her roommate, but she insisted on sleeping on the rollaway bed while I slept in one of the two regular beds.   
      I will pray for her as I do for my other loved ones who are no longer here. 
      I regret that I wasn't able to attend her services, but, sadly, I had a previous commitment to attend a funeral at exactly the same time.   
      My condolences to Mary's family.    She will always be with you through your memories.
