Matt was born in Lincoln, Illinois. He earned his undergraduate degree at Indiana University, with a double major in Accounting and Finance. After college, he moved to Chicago and worked as a consultant for Deloitte Consulting before returning to Bloomington, Indiana, to earn his MBA at the Kelley School of Business. He then built a successful career in Southern California at Broadcom, Ingram Micro, and Skyworks Solutions, rising to Vice President of Finance. In his leisure time, Matt enjoyed playing golf, hiking, perfecting his culinary skills, and enjoying meals with friends and family. His favorite moments were those spent with the people he loved.
Matt is survived by his loving wife, Cindy, and his son, Andrew, of whom he was immensely proud. He is also survived by his parents, Mary Hilscher and Michael Wilson, his sister Stephanie, and many extended family members who will all miss him deeply. A Funeral Service for Matt will be held Sunday, January 14, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Pacific View Mortuary Legacy Chapel with a Graveside Service to follow.
