Mildred Irene Seapy

Mildred Irene Seapy was born in Dexter, New Mexico on January 31, 1912. At the age of 12 in 1924, the family of seven moved to El Monte, Calif. The family attended the Brethern Church in Glendora. Mildred attended schools in Covina. After High School she went to Chaffey Junior College where she met her husband, John Windsor Seapy. They were married on September 7, 1935 and celebrated 71 happy years together. John passed away April 28, 2007.

John and Mildred moved to Anaheim in 1938. Born to them were three children, Donald, Robert and Patricia. The family joined the First Presbyterian Church in Anaheim where she taught Sunday School and served as a Deacon. Mildred loved being a homemaker, enjoying cooking, sewing and gardening. She loved fun games and parties with her many friends. She was an avid Angels sports fan, attending many games . When she could no longer climb the steps in the stadium, Mildred watched them faithfully on television. The family loved to vacation and fish every summer at Virginia Lakes in the High Sierras. Being a member of PEO gave her great satisfaction. Then she worked at the Broadway Department Store as a Bridal Registrar and at Robinson's in Anaheim. Her three children married and had familys of their own. Mildred is survived by Don and Karen Seapy, [Rob(predeeded her in death), Laura Crihfield]; Bob and Jane Seapy (Chris Jacamino, Lillian Brandenberger, Allisa Laycock); Patricia and Larry Larson (Peter, Jean McKevitt, Aimee Cowell, David). Mildred loved visits from her great grandchildren, Josh & Anna, Nick & Alex, Alli & Kate, Braden & Morgan, Lauren & Ryan, and Simon Peter.
