I wanted to share that this morning’s gathering to honor Uncle Jimmy was so heartwarming. Eunice’s speech was so perfect, that it was a “tough act to follow”. Instead of going up to the podium despite Eunice’s invitation, we all flowed about the chapel to visit with each other and share our stories to cry and laugh. The chapel was full of love on this rainy day and Jimmy’s family was so gracious to host and share their dear son/brother/ husband/father with us, his friends. I’m sure there were countless people who wish they could attend. You were all definitely with us in spirit!
I’ll share a few precious moments I had with Jimmy this year - seeing him interact with his daughter, Eunice, when Danny and I got to visit during a hospital stay and when Jimmy saved his plate at the TPA Thanksgiving Potluck. 
Seeing Jimmy in the hospital was difficult for everyone. It’s hard to see someone you care about in a critical state of health. Jimmy handled it as well as he could and allowing us to visit him meant a lot to Danny and me. Seeing him have his back and forth father-daughter banter as Eunice would encourage him to eat the allowed foods really showed what a sweet connection they had, even if Jimmy was a challenging patient. At least we got to see how strong Jimmy is, which gave us hope for his recovery. 
The last time I saw Jimmy was at our pickleball club Thanksgiving get together. Jimmy was quietly sitting on the steel storage box at court 10, his usual spot. The food was special and yummy and Jimmy accepted the plate that was offered to him. I noticed that he might not have had the appetite to eat that morning. When Jimmy saw me, he wanted me to take his plate. He seemed glad that I was willing to take and enjoy on his behalf. I complimented him for how great he looked and how happy I was to see him bouncing back. I gave him a hug and thanked him for being such a good friend to my husband, Danny.

When I think of him putting his life down too early
I can't put it all into my heart.
Youth was another name for possibility,
His time was full of unwritten stories
His absence feels even greater.
His life, which was short but never light
It was a memory for someone,
It's become a warmth to someone,
I believe it remains a clear mark on the world.
The sadness of those left behind will not go away easily,
The love and memory for him
I hope you hug your pain little by little in time.
Every time he stayed
I wish you quiet comfort and peace

Coach Jimmy always had a big smile and such a positive, encouraging way of teaching. He made me feel genuinely happy every time I was on the court.
He will be deeply missed. His passing came much too soon, and I’m truly grateful for the knowledge and joy he shared.

This is a picture of Jimmy and I at the Oklahoma State games. I had  a stroke 20 days previous to us playing together. I asked him if he still wanted to play and he said “yes let’s do it “and we did.  We took gold only 20 days after my  massive stroke so he’ll always be in my memory for that. He always has a smile and was laughing . He  will be missed greatly by all of us here in Wichita, Kansas.

I knew Cho as one of my soldiers back in at least 2018! We even had a mission in Poland together and I remember how he stood up for me and another soldier! We always had one another’s best interest and looked out for each other! I will remember the good times and wish he rest peacefully!

Can’t forget eating! We enjoyed eating bbq at least once a week!

Our little group we’d always have a great time, helping each other out and taking care of each other!

We had a team building day and decided a beach day was best fit!

Thank you for the laughs and the talks Brother. You will be missed. My condolences to the family and y'all will be in my prayers.

I met Jimmy through pickleball. He was always friendly and a great player. He even gave me a few pickleball tips. You will be missed, Jimmy!

Jimmy was instrumental in bringing Live Ball to Tustin Pickleball Association. I was privileged to be in his inaugural class. I did not know him long but what I do know is he is a wonderful person, a great instructor and always a smile on his face. He will be sorely missed!

May God Bless Jimmy always in his afterlife. Praying for his family. Our deepest condolences. Jimmy was well liked and loved here in Wichita KS. Many many people are saddened with his passing.
