Pamela is survived by her two daughters, Paige and Quinn Burke; parents, William and Patsy Jo Burke; brother, Brian Burke (Suzi); sisters, Megan Burke Jasiewicz (Richard) and Kelly Burke; her Guatemalan sister, Maria Ward (Geoff); and nine nieces and one nephew.
Pam was a proud USC Trojan and was affiliated with the Kappa Alpha Theta Fraternity. She graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in the field of Education in 1986, and graduated with her Master’s in Education in 1987. After graduation, she began an amazing career in teaching, starting at Meadow Park Elementary School for eleven years. She then moved to Harbor Day School where she was a much-beloved third-grade teacher for thirteen years.
There will be a Celebration of Life on a future date for the Harbor Day School community.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at Mariner's Church Chapel in Irvine, with a reception immediately following at Big Canyon Country Club in Newport Beach.
