It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia Warren, who departed peacefully in her sleep after a brief illness. A loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Patricia will be remembered for her spirited personality, her unwavering smile, and her deep-seated love for children.
Born in Long Beach to her adoring parents, Helen Louise and Marvin Edward Ward, Patricia was a beloved sister to her late brother, Fred. Her greatest joy was motherhood, a calling she embraced with her whole heart. This passion extended to her professional life, where she found immense happiness working with children as a pre-school teacher. She had a remarkable gift for nurturing young minds and was known for her kindness, often extending her care to children in need.
In her younger years, Patricia was a vibrant woman with a flair for style, known for her cool clothes and distinctive beehive hairstyle. She had a lifelong appreciation for classic crooners such as Elvis Presley, Engelbert Humperdinck, and Tom Jones. A staunch liberal, she was a true spitfire who was always ready to share her well-informed opinion on world affairs.
Later in life, she found solace in a quieter existence, dedicating herself to her grandchildren and enjoying her passions for murder mysteries and puzzles. She is survived by her devoted children, Ron, Tina, Rick, Steve, and Jennifer; her grandchildren, Ben, Sam, Vivian, James, Ryan, Christina, Sandy, Allison, Heather, Linda, Ron Jr., and Matthew; and her fourteen great-grandchildren.
Patricia will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 11, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Pacific View Mortuary in the Legacy Chapel followed by a Graveside Service.
