My thoughts and prayers are with you in these difficult times.  I will never forget Rene's smile, the stories about the restaurant, his interest in the stock market and how he always cared for Jackie.
He will be missed.

I am so sorry for your loss my dear family.  I still remember the first time I met Rene and you Jackie at The Berghoff!  My love to all of you and my family treasures so many memories with Rene and all of you!

We are so so sorry to hear about your loss (It’s a loss to all of us in fact).  He was such a great man! Every time I had a face to face with him he was always smiling, making jokes, and filling the room with joy. I remember the days of the restaurant in South Coast Plaza with its amazing food and decor. I wish I could go back in time to enjoy that wonderful food one more time. It seems like he lived a long and wonderful life and he was blessed to have family that loved him so much. May he rest in peace.
