Richard Brice Figueroa, age 83, of Newport Beach, California, passed away on May 17, 2026, from a heart attack. Born on February 14, 1943, in Los Angeles, California, to Clydie Mae Figueroa and Richard V. Figueroa, Richard spent his early years in San Marino, California. He studied at the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. Richard enjoyed a long and successful career with Catalina Swimwear before transitioning to real estate for his second career.
Richard lived life fully. He was a world traveler, a gourmand and wine connoisseur who loved fast cars and dressed impeccably.
Richard is survived by his ex-wife and partner of 35 years, Sheri Mulligan.
A private celebration of Richard’s life was held on June 7, 2026, when family, neighbors, and longtime friends gathered in his honor.
