

Robert Lee Dosier Jr., age 87, of Laguna Woods passed away on February 18, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Robert was born on August 11, 1930 to Grace and Robert Dosier Sr. in Los Angeles, California, where he grew up with his younger brothers Paul and Tim, and his sister Gail.
He joined the US Navy at a young age and is a veteran of the Korean War era. He served on the USS Helena and was awarded the Korean Service Medal and the China Service Medal. After military service, Robert worked most of his life as an executive in the electronics industry.
In 1959, he met and married his beloved wife Rosanna in Rome, Italy, and survived four days past his 59th anniversary. Robert enjoyed traveling the world with his wife, accompanying her to the theater, and entertaining family and friends. He was a loving father and supported his son’s endeavors in their education, sports, careers, and families.
Robert was an avid adventurer and enjoyed deep sea fishing, recreational gold mining, and exploratory trips in the California wilderness and Mexico. He also loved spending quality time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Rosanna, two sons Bruce and Steven, two daughters-in-law Stephanie and Amy, grandchildren Eric, Kristen, Amanda, Charlotte, and Catherine, and great granddaughter Paisley.
Funeral services for Robert are being provided by Pacific View Memorial Park and Mortuary of Corona Del Mar on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at 10:00 AM.
