

Completing High School in Milwaukee, Shirley worked in the area at Allis Chalmers, as a secretary, a job that she was very proud and talked of often. In the early 50’s, Shirley came to Southern California with family. At that time, she worked for the Automobile Club and later in a Banking career.
Soon after, Shirley met the love of her life, Joseph Villasenor in 1952 at a bowling alley. To Joe’s surprise, Shirley agreed to a second date, and as they say, the rest is history.
Joe and Shirley were married in Las Vegas in 1952. They began their family in 1955 with the birth of their daughter, Christy (Ron Clarke)and a son, Dale (Pam) in 1956. Moving from Los Angeles to Brea, in Orange County, CA, in 1965, where they resided until retiring in San Clemente in 2012.
Shirley’s growing family, included Grandchildren, Danielle (Mark White) and Son, Travis, whom she joins in our Father’s arms. Great-Grandchildren , Madison , Dylan and Noah White were the stars of her legacy. She loved them with all her heart. She is survived by a brother, Chuck Slye Jr.of Grants Pass, OR.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Marge Slye, Grandson Travis Pfeifer.
