Teresa June Pollastro, widow to Carmen Pollastro, passed away in her home on Monday, November 28, 2022. As a resident of Laguna Niguel and Laguna Beach for over 60 years, Teresa loved seashells and the ocean. She would often take rides with her little dog, Cashew, to the harbor or along Coast Highway, sometimes making the occasional stop at one of her favorite casinos to "play a little".
Teresa enjoyed a brief career in the LA sheriff's office and was very active in Bobby Sox softball as well as in city affairs. She was on the committee that started the original Laguna Niguel City Holiday Parade that we still enjoy today.
Teresa is survived by her daughter, Emily, and her brother’s and sister’s families. A private service was held with her immediate family. Anyone interested to pay their respects is welcome to visit Teresa and Carmen together in Lagunita Court at the Pacific View Memorial Park in Newport Beach. Their family marker is being updated and expected to be installed for their permanent honor in 2023.
