Bac was so kind and blessed with a wonderful life with husband, children, and grandchildren. I don't recall ever hearing her raise her voice when I was younger. Our families had such fun memories together.

Today we say good bye to an amazing lady, a great mother,  a great wife,  and a great grandmom.  Will miss her wisdoms and the stories she told us every time we met.  From a patriotic teenager during her time, to the midwife at the french hospital.  Delivered so many babies, and the whole town loved her,  as cô Trúc(miss green bamboo).. and one of the civil engineer loved to get to know her, and he did, he married her.. my father in law flew his dad to meet with my mother in law cousin,  Dì  Hai who is like her mom, to ask permission for marriage.  Together they have ten kids, one passed away as a baby.  she was such a strong person and resilience.  She loves real estate i think that what my wife get that from her.  She owned many building in Saigon and had to leave the country in search of freedom.  Came to the US, started from scratch like many families,  for the price of freedom.  Together my father in law and my mother in law rebuilt  their legacies.  She helped anyone in need as no question ask.  Our girls and us will miss her witty,  her amazing foods. Love you Má... you're forever in our hearts.

Phuong , Trí , and the entire Le -Khac family, 

I am so saddened and sorry for your loss, Phuong . I remembered coming to your house on Paularino in Costa Mesa during my Cal poly days and visit and have dinner and spending precious time with hai bac  and your family on the weekends. Remembering how strong and active she was , I couldn’t keep up with her. Such  a vivacious, sweet and generous lady ! Now I know where you get your energy from. Those will be heartfelt, unforgettable memories that I will always treasure ! 

Big hugs to you Phuong and may she rest In Peace .
