To the Honorable Mr. Thomas,

Today, I received the news that you have left this world. Though I had only a short time to accompany you, it was such a meaningful and important part of your remarkable life’s journey.

The memories of your kindness, your boldness in thought and action, and the deep love you held for your bride will forever stay with me.

I am deeply grateful for the conversations we shared and the moments we planned your wedding together. Your trust in me — in my role as your Wedding Planner — remains one of the things I am most proud of in my career.

Today, in Vietnam, there is someone shedding tears upon hearing of your passing.

May your soul rest peacefully in the shelter and everlasting love of God.

We met Thomas only a few times in Singapore, but we remember him as a good man full of joy, energy, and plans for life.
We will have his smile on our eyes and his thoughts on our hearts. May God keep his soul in peace.
We share the sadness of his sudden disappearance with his wife, Tanny, and all his beloved ones.

Liebe Thanh, ich wünsche Dir jede Menge Kraft für die Zukunft,  Du schöpfst Energie aus der gemeinsamen Zeit mit Tom.  Sei sehr dankbar, dass Du diese Zeit mit Tom erleben durftest.

Tom was not only a man of great success, but also of exceptional kindness and generosity. His achievements were remarkable, his warmth, humility, always find the joy, happiness make others arounds him feel welcome and the way he touched the lives of so many that truly defined him. Leaving lasting memories and an example for us all.

May God be with your family and strengthen them through this moment. You will always be remembered.

Uncle Tom was such a good and caring man. He will always be remembered with love and respect. My condolences to the family, trusting that he will forever be kept in the hearts of those who loved him.

I partnered with Michael 26 yrs ago, and his pride in his little brother's success was charming.  Tom overcame  dyslexia to pass the California bar and worked tirelessly to become a very successful lawyer in a one man firm!  His intelligence and drive were legendary in our family.   Michael and I have both shared Tom's story many times, using it as an encouragement and inspiration.   So, even before I met Tom, he had impressed me!    
 Tom had been discouraged many times in his earlier years,   but he was resilient and charged ahead to live his life with enthusiasm.  

My personal experiences with Tom showed me a generous host and guest,  a big living man who loved his children and family deeply.    I haven't met Tanny, but I know she made him very happy and her dedication until his end was a great gift.
  
Tom died too young but he experienced a huge amount of life in the years he had.    Rest in peace Tom.

My brother Tom was definitely a unique person. I have met many exceptional people in my life, but never someone with his raw life force. He had the most voracious appetite for every aspect of life. 

Tom's life story would make a great Netflix series. Everyone would assume it was fictional, because us mere mortals could not imagine someone from his relatively humble background with some pretty big challenges could accomplish so much. I will miss my brother but never forget him.

There's only one Uncle Tom!

My first memory was meeting him at his home in Half Moon Boy, in the late 90s. Such an exuberant and generous person.  Intensely passionate, and loving of his own children, siblings, and extended family.

I've met Tom numerous times since then, such as hosting me for my 21st birthday (a whole week!), and multiple visits to SF including seeing Rodrigo y Gabriela together, twice! Then in LA, shortly before his sister passed away. And lastly for my wedding in 2019, which Tom was instrumental in making happen.

And through all this time, he's always been the same Uncle Tom that I remember. One cool dude!

He was a good and friendly person. Good people will always remain in our memories. My condolences and I hope that the good memories will help you through this difficult time.
