My family and I first met Virginia in 1975 when we moved to Perry, Iowa and joined First Baptist Church.  She and Earl loved this young couple and newborn baby from the first time we met.  She has been a dear friend since that time.  Her godly love for people will not soon be forgotten.

Virginia Green was one of my grandmother Audrey Seaton's closest friends. So that made me family too. She gave me a cookbook as a wedding gift in 1977, and I still have it!  And I was one of the 1000 on her mailing list. She is truly an unforgettable person whose life made a difference. She will remain my role model for staying in touch and being faithful to God's kingdom purpose. I am picturing her chatting it up in heaven with Earl, Paul and Audrey Seaton, and Ron and Joan Atwood, my parents, (to name a few).  My sincere condolences, Roberta, Howard, and David. We will all miss Virginia.

I had the honor to know her and be the recipient of her many cards through our church.   I looked up to her for her faithfulness in card-writing...I'm glad I told her that!  Virginia was a fun person to visit, but I know Earl must be enjoying her company in Heaven.
