Virginia Lee McAdoo, age 94, of San Juan Capistrano, California passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2022. Virginia was born September 24, 1928.

Virginia grew up in Wichita Kansas. Graduated Wichita East High School 1946, attended Gulf Park College, Gulfport Mississippi 1946-1947. Graduating Kansas University in 1950 with her BA in Business. In 1951 she married Norman Lawrence McAdoo, after which they moved to Omaha Nebraska. In 1957 Norman and Virginia moved to southern California, living in San Clemente for over 60 years.

January of 1985 Virginia and Norman joined Ocean Hills Community Church in San Juan Capistrano, California. Virginia and Norman were very involved in the church’s activities through the years, including the last phase, the building of the sanctuary, which was completed in 1999. She and Norman took 3 trips with the church, to Israel, where they were baptized in the Jordan River. Virginia dedicated her life to her husband, family and church.

Survivors include son, Lawrence McAdoo, wife, Diane, daughter, Debbie Lohrman, husband, Jim; four grandchildren, Sarah McAdoo, Dustin Lohrman, Nina McCorkle, husband Grant, Jennifer Perez, husband Andy; ten great grandchildren, Ladee Johnson McAdoo, Sydney Barkley, husband Andris, Landon McCorkle, Logan McCorkle, Flook Spoon and their grandmother Lisa; James Lohrman, Emily Lohrman and their mother Marisela; Caleb Perez, Caylee Perez; Tristan Lohrman and his mother Ali, nephew, Richard Roth and niece, Libby Best.

She was preceded in death by her son, Leland McAdoo, grandson, Micah McAdoo, husband, Norman L McAdoo, brother in-law, Robert Roth and sister, Rosalee Roth.
