William Cairo

William Cairo was born on July 4, 1935 and lived in Cosenza, Italy with his parents John & Rosa, sister Maria and brother Joe. He came to the United States from Italy when he was 20 years old.

William started his career in Italy to become a Master Tailor and applied his unique skills of crafting custom made suits upon arriving in the United States. William started a custom clothing business, “Cairo Custom Tailor” in San Marino where he and his family resided for many years.

William met and married the love of his life Rosetta and had 3 children and have been married for 62 blessed years.

William enjoyed spending time and taking vacations with his family. William and Rosetta built a custom home in Laguna Beach and enjoyed their retirement years living in Orange County.

He loved playing Bocci, watching Italian League Soccer, enjoyed watching Dodger games on Sundays and taking long walks.

William and Rosetta loved to dance waltzes and tangos, loved traveling, enjoyed listening and going to the Opera. William and Rosetta loved to dance waltzes and tangos, loved traveling, enjoyed listening and going to the Opera.

William is survived by his loving wife Rosetta, his 3 children John, Joe, Lisa, and Son in-law Derek. He is also survived by 6 Grandchildren: William, Alexia, Jaime, Garrett, Nicholas, Jack, and one Great Grandson Landon.

William was a gentle man and loved his family and friends. He will be missed and our memories will be cherished.

A memorial service for William will be held Monday, March 27, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Pacific View Memorial Park and Mortuary FD1176, 3500 Pacific View Drive, Corona Del Mar, California 92625, followed by a graveside ceremony.
