

Born on November 9th 1926 by parents- mother Koula and George Janos, William was raised in "The Great Depression" as a single child in the Trenton NJ area where he was a waiter and began his college. Both parents were Greek immigrants that arrived at the USA via Ellis Island. William enlisted in the US Army at age of 18 on November 20th 1945 during World War II. After getting out of the Army William followed his academic dream and went to various colleges for many years and received his PHD and worked in the aerospace industry for his entire life. William worked primarily under contract for the United States Defense Department under mostly "Top Secret" and a "Secrecy Order" as most of his work involved the United Stated various defense systems and processes and his inventions had a major impact on those systems. William was married to Charlene Keith Janos whom he loved dearly. She was his traveling companion until her passing... He continued to be an avid traveler and photographer for most of his life. He enjoyed fast cars, good food, dark chocolate, cigars, red wine and whisky. William Traveled to Greece and Pennsylvania frequently to visit family on a yearly basis and spent many holidays with Charlene's sister Tina and her family.
