He served in the Army during the Korean War and retired as a foreman from Wickes Lumber Company. He loved spending time with his family and loved the outdoors. He especially enjoyed family BBQ’s, and family vacations. He loved listening to music and dancing. His family enjoyed watching him dance and have a good time. He spent his spare time doing odd jobs to keep busy. He was always ready to help anyone in need at any time especially family, friends and neighbors. During his retirement he was always eager to join his children on vacations to Cancun, Coushatta Casino, and his favorite vacation spot, Las Vegas. He was a loyal fan of the Dallas Cowboys and loved wearing his team’s attire every football Sunday to cheer them on. Our lives are forever changed without his presence, but our love for him will live forever in our hearts.
