She enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her grandson, Adan Guerra.
She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Santana Garcia, Sr.
She also leaves behind to cherish her memories 9 children, Adriana (Robert) Hardy, Sr., Herlinda (Manuel) Fernandez, Sr. , Margie (the late Lorenzo) Dalton, Rene (Dalia) Garcia, Santana (Jo Ann) Garcia, Jr., Rebecca (Ted) Quintanilla, Jr., Anna (Manuel) Amador, Homer (Judy) Garcia and Raul (Ninfa) Garcia.
She was loved and adored by her 27 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 8, 2014 at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
