Adelaida A. Saenz

Adelaida was born to Jose De Jesus Davila and Gonzala Davila, January 28,1930 in Premont Texas, she graduated from Premont High School in 1952. She married the love of her life Lorenzo Saenz on April 18, 1954, they lived together in Corpus Christi, Texas. And together they raised four children two boys and two girls.

She was an amazing Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, and Great- Great-Grandmother. The heart and rock foundation of the family. Our mother loved sewing on her singer sewing machine and making us matching outfits to match her outfit. Enjoyed the outdoors, had a green thumb for planting and loved all types of flowers.

She is survived by her Daughters Maria Elisa Garza of San Antonio, Texas Emily Saenz and Daughter In-Law Martha Saenz of Corpus Christi, Texas.

Five Grandsons Michael Paul (Kimberly)Garza of Corpus Christi, Texas Robertino Garza of San Antonio, Texas Adan Lorenzo Saenz, Abraham (Marie) Saenz, Eric James Saenz of Corpus Christi Texas.

Five Granddaughters Melinda Garza of San Antonio, Texas Krisilda Saenz, Bonnie Saenz, Nitasha Saenz, Angel Rae Saenz of Corpus Christi, Texas.

Twelve Great-Grandsons Michael Paul Jr, Nathan, Mathew, Abel, Chris, Leo, Darren, Jevin, Jovani, Damian, Ares, Nathaniel, Michael.

Seven Great-Granddaughters Olivia, Bella, Anaya, Aryana, Star, Nirvana, Delilah.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of over Fifty years Lorenzo Saenz, sons Rene and Arnold Saenz and one Great-Great-Granddaughter Demi Rae.

A visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, located at 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, TX 78415, on January 6, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A rosary will take place at the same venue on January 6, 2026, from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The funeral mass will be conducted at Holy Family Catholic Church, 2509 Nogales St, Corpus Christi, TX 78416, on January 7, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. The committal will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery on January 7, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
