Adolfo G. Vacca

Adolfo G. Vacca, age 74 passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2011 with his loving family by his side. He was born on November 13, 1936 to Emilio and Margarita Vacca. Aldolfo worked for 18 years at Chase Field Naval Air Base in Beeville, Texas. He then retired from Corpus Christi Army Depot after 35 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Ismael Vacca and his brother-in-law, Pedro Leal.

Adolfo leaves behind his family to cherish his memories, his loving and devoted wife of 53 years, Maria Elena Vacca; his children: Adolfo (Betty) Vacca, Jr., Velma (Felix) Lopez, Sylvia (Armando) Abrego and Rose (Danny) Garza; ex-daughter-in-law, Angelica Vacca Garcia; grandchildren: Belinda, Felix Jr., Valarie, Ronnie, Katherine, Victoria, Emily, Adolfo III and Jeremy; two great-grandchildren: Adan III and Kimberly; two brothers: David (Annaville) Vacca and Robert (Viola) Vacca; three sisters: Rosalinda (Leo) Alvarez, Gloria V. Villarreal and Yolanda Leal.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 P.M until 9:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at Funeraria Del Angel, 549 Cheyenne with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M., that same evening.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 A.M., on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at St Joseph Catholic Church with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
