Aida Garza Escamilla, 74, passed September 3, 2026. Aida was born to Nestor Garza Flores and Anastacia Garza. She married David Escamilla in March 16, 1974, and they lived together in Corpus Christi, TX. Together they raised 4 children.
She is survived by husband: David Escamilla. She also leaves to cherish her memory: Siblings Lourdes Alejandro, Angelita, Antonio, Amelia, Nestor, and Gilberto Garza. Her four children and their spouses, Aida and Alfredo Trevino, Nora and Enrique Ramirez, David and Sandra Escamilla, Carlos and Rosario Escamilla. As well as her beloved grandchildren, Adeida and Ezequiel Treviño, Sara and Luis Enrique Ramirez, David Sebastian and Samuel Ian Escamilla, and Callie Rose and Leo Carlos Cruz Escamilla (late). And great grandkids Amelia Elizabeth and Carlos Gomez Jr.
Aida devoted her life to her family as a loving wife, mother, and homemaker. She took great pride in caring for her home and raising a wonderful family, always putting the needs of those she loved before her own. A woman of deep faith, Aida lived her life with a servant’s heart. She led by example and was an inspiration to those around her through her kindness, compassion, and willingness to serve others. She was a cheerful giver who gave freely of her time, love, and herself, never expecting anything in return.
Aida had a beautiful way of bringing happiness to everyone around her. She was caring, selfless, joyful, and kindhearted, and her greatest joy came from being surrounded by her family and seeing those she loved happy. Her faith, generous spirit, warmth, and love will continue to live on through the family she raised and the countless lives she touched.
A viewing is scheduled for September 17th, 2026 from 5pm-9pm at Memory Gardens Funeral Home at 8200 Old Brownsville Rd. Corpus Christi, TX. On September 18th, 2026 a Funeral Service from 10am-11am following Committal from 11am-12pm.
