Alan graduated from Mary Carroll High School and married Becky Lawson on September 18, 1996, in Corpus Christi, Texas.
He worked as a welder out of High School in shipyards, refineries, oilfield platforms, one being Bullwinkle, and generators. He later received his CWI and became a welding inspector.
His passions were traveling, fishing and cooking. He loved going to new restaurants all over America, brew pubs, wineries and festivals. One year he and Becky made it their year of festivals and attended over 10 in one year just in Texas.
Alan is preceded in death by his father, Alfred Schreiber.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Becky Schreiber; mother, Betty Jane Schreiber; sister, Arlene Wimer; niece, Whitney Wimer; nephews, Wayne Wimer, Wesley Wimer and Justin Lawson.
There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
