Alfred Boswell III

Carroll Alfred Boswell III, better known as Alfred, entered into the loving arms of our Lord on September 13, 2026 at the tender age of 63. He was born in Radford, Virginia on September 2, 1963 to parents Vivian Peggy Morton and Carroll Alfred Boswell Jr. Alfred was a man who believed life was meant to be lived with curiosity, adventure, and plenty of fun along the way. His journey was filled with meaningful memories, loved ones, and countless moments that made life special.

Born in Virginia, some of Alfred’s fondest memories were made during the summers he spent with his Aunt Sallie. Those summers held a special place in his heart and became memories he carried with him throughout his life. Eventually, Alfred made his way to Texas alongside his beloved sister, beginning a new chapter and building a life of his own.

Alfred had a naturally curious mind and was always interested in learning. He graduated from Virginia Tech in 1983 with an engineering degree, and later continued his education by earning a degree in computer programming.

But as much as Alfred loved learning and the work he dedicated himself to, his relationships were what truly mattered. He loved his sister deeply, and their bond remained an important part of his life. Family was something he cherished, and the people he loved held a special place in his heart. In 2003, Alfred met Vicki Kay Peacock, who would become the love of his life. Their relationship grew into a loving partnership, and on March 17, 2007, the two were married. Together, they created a life that was anything but ordinary. Their years together were filled with adventure, laughter, and the kind of memories that come from simply enjoying life side by side.

Alfred loved to fish and appreciated being outdoors, but perhaps even more than that, he loved having fun. With Alfred, there always seemed to be something going on. He had a way of turning an ordinary day into an opportunity for an adventure, and life with him was rarely boring. He enjoyed experiencing things, making memories, and sharing those moments with the people he loved.

Alfred will be reunited in heaven with his loving parents, Vivian Peggy Harmon and Carroll Boswell Jr.; sister, aunt, Sallie Yates; uncles, Wallace Morton, Kenneth (Kenny) Boswell; and aunt, Judy Boswell.

His memory will forever live in his loving wife, Vicki Boswell; brothers, Bradley Nace Boswell and Kristopher David Boswell; aunts, Pamela Edmunds, and Debbie Karibian; friend, Prakash Gandhi; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousin and extended family and friends. In those memories, his adventurous spirit will continue to live on.
