Alfredo M Ruiz

Alfredo “Fred” M. Ruiz, age 64, passed away on December 8, 2016. He was born on August 30, 1952 to Luis and Alicia Ruiz in Alice, Texas. He was raised in Corpus Christi Texas. He graduated from Roy Miller High School in 1970. He also served in the US Army.

Fred was a loving son, father, grandfather, uncle and brother. Fed enjoyed singing in Grupo Amar. He especially enjoyed spending quality time with his family. He loved the Dallas Cowboys. He loved his children and grandchildren dearly. He was humble, kind and giving, “Siempre En Domingo.” He will always be remembered for his love of laughter and devotion to his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Luis and Alicia Ruiz.

He is survived by sons; Alfredo Ruiz, Jr., Martin Ruiz, daughter; Araceli (Jose) Ruiz, grandchildren; Samantha, Ysariana, Yazmine, Ismael, Andrew Ruiz, Sadie Ruiz, Carlos Ruiz, 4 great-grandchildren; Nayeli, Jordynn, Avyanna, Gilbert, Jr., one brother; Luis Ruiz, Jr. (Rosie), sisters; Elva (Arnulfo), Elma (Paul), Mary Alice (Juan), Dalia Ruiz and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria del Angel, 549 Cheyenne Street, on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 14 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
