

Alice Ann Belcher passed away March 30, 2015 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born June 30, 1921 in High, Texas to Smith Bedford Coleman and Georgie Haraway Coleman. She and her late husband, William R. Belcher, Sr. retired in Dallas, Texas following his career as an engineer with Mobil Oil Company. They lived in many cities in the Southern United States, Singapore and Norway where they made many friends. In Dallas they enjoyed playing golf, traveling and were active in the neighborhood library. Alice Ann was a member of the Garden Club and Book Club. She moved to Corpus Christi in 2007 and became active in the social activated at Trinity Towers.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Dr. William R. Belcher, Jr. and wife, Lynn Belcher of Corpus Christi; grandchildren, Stacy Lynn Belcher of Columbus, Texas and Scott Belcher and his wife, Tisha Belcher of Corpus Christi, Texas; great granddaughter, Riley Kate Belcher of Corpus Christi, Texas. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. until Funeral Services at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 4, 2015 in the Chapel at Cage Mills Funeral Directors.
Entombment will be at 10 a.m., Monday, April 6, 2015 at the Sparkman Hillcrest Mausoleum in Dallas, Texas.
We would like to thank the staff of Trinity Towers and the Holmgreen Center for the attention and care my mother received over the many years she lived there.
We would especially like to thank Sandy Coleman and her family and friends who timelessly cared for my mother during the past several months. They helped find peace and happiness in her daily life.
The family would also like to thank the staff at Angel Bright Hospice for the compassionate care my mother received during her final days.
