Alicia Josefina Loera, age 66, went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on Saturday, February 13, 2016. Alicia was born February 6, 1950 in Matamoros, Tamps. Mexico. She was a devoted wife and mother. She loved her grandchildren dearly.
She is preceded in death by her son, Juan Ramiro Loera and father, Felipe Gonzalez. Alicia is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Ramiro Loera Sr.; mother, Alicia Gonzalez; children, Ramiro Loera Jr. of Colorado, Laura Loera (Albert Garza), Lillian Loera, Lizet Loera, Roldan Loera of Germany (Judy Villanueva), Lourdes Rodriguez (Enrique); four brothers, one sister and eleven grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria del Angel, 549 Cheyenne on Thursday, February 18, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of San Juan Mother of the Church, 1755 Frio St., on Friday, February 19, 2016 at 10:00 am with interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
