Alicia graduated from Roy Miller High School and received nursing credits from Del Mar College. She married Arturo Medina in 1958, Pedro Hinojosa in 1976 and Adolfo Gutierrez in 1992. Alicia had a career in bookkeeping for Zales. She was a member of the Metropolitan Cathedral Church of the Holy Cross and had a passion for walking, music, Chihuahua, Mexico, travel, private education, arts and crafts and dancing. She also loved animals and small country towns.
She is preceded in death by Arturo Medina, Pedro Hinojosa, Concepcion Rowsey, Jovita Andrews, Paco Yanez, Raul Yanez and her cousins in Mexico.
She is survived by Alicia M. Hinojosa-Brown, Lee Anne Hinojosa, Arturo Medina and Melinda Medina.
Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Monday, April 10, 2023 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM with Holy Rosary recited at 7:00 PM. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at 10:00 AM with burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
