

She lived a full and happy life from September 22, 1930 until August 18, 2022. Alpha died peacefully in her home with family at her side after living a full and happy life.
Preceding her in death, Her Loving Husband of almost 55 years, Stephen Rapach, Her Parents Otto Karl Sr. and Maggie Lee Torno, Brothers, Vernon, Karl, Bill, and Pat Torno.
She is survived by her Son, Jeff Rapach and his wife Carron of Corpus Christi and her Daughter Becky Murphy and her husband Larry of Baytown, Texas.
Four Grandchildren, Lisa Linerode, Brian Rapach, Michael Murphy, and Mark Murphy
Five Great Grandchildren, Joshua, Isaac, Luke, Dylan, Kentley and extended Great-Grandchildren, Hailee, Gavin, Charleigh, and Everett. Also, many nieces and nephews.
Alpha worked for Southwestern Bell for 35 years, starting out as an Operator. After a few years, She advanced to the position of a Frame Person, then finished her career as a Switch Person. She especially loved spending time with her Children, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren traveling all over the United States on family vacations each year. She was a member of Norton Street Church of Christ and later a member of Kings Crossing Church of Christ, both in Corpus Christi, Texas. Alpha was a Master Gardener and volunteered at the South Texas Botanical Children's Garden. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to South Texas Botanical Gardens.
She was a beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt and Friend and will be forever in our hearts.
May she rest in Peace. . .
