Alta Freeman, 88, was called home to meet our Lord on Tuesday, December 22, 2015. During her time here on earth, she regularly attended West Heights Baptist Church where life-long friends grew into family. After a long battle, we rejoice as she is reunited with her husband, Monroe, whom proceeded her in death.
She is survived by her four sons: Roy (Diane), Bill (Veronica), Larry (Kelly), Alan (Sondra); 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends whom will miss her dearly.
To help celebrate her life, a viewing has been scheduled on Saturday,December 26th from 6:00-9:00 pm at Memory Gardens Funeral Home located at 8200 Old Brownsville Rd. Funeral proceedings are to follow the next day, Sunday, at 2:00 pm.
