Anita G. Morin

Anita G. Morin, 87 years young, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away January 18, 2021. Anita was born in Goliad, Texas on April 13, 1933. She was married to Tomas R. Morin on September 20, 1955 in Karnes County Texas.

Anita was a proud homemaker and caregiver to six children and her beloved grandchildren throughout her lifetime. She was an active member of her church and had a passion for singing and playing guitar. She was loved by all those who knew her.

Anita leaves her loving memories to her children, Ricardo (Carmen) Morin, Ramiro G. Morin, Roland G. Morin, Roanna Erica Morin, and Rutha Tanya Morin; her grandchildren, Ramiro (Stephanie) Morin, Jr., Tiffany Dell Morin, Ricardo Morin, Jr., Randy Lee (Alexandria) Morin, Nicole Rene Morin, Jessica Ryan (Ashley) Morin, Jordan Rebekah Morin, John Roger Morin, Elijah Rios, Eliyas Tomas Rios, Ellyana Ruth Rios, Evalynn Maureen Pena, and Vanessa Morin; and 12 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her loving sister, Amelia Perez.

Anita is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Tomas R. Morin; her son, Roger G. Morin; her grandson, Ronnie James Morin; her brothers, Jose Garza, Tomas Garza, Seferino Garza, Jr., Pablo Garza; and her sister, Emma Rubio.

Funeral arrangements will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home but are private at this time.

Pallbearers will be Ramiro Morin Jr., Matthew Ramiro Morin, Jacob Silvas, Randy Lee Morin, John Roger Morin, and Elijah Rios.
