Annie M. Smith passed away January 25, 2016 in New Braunfels, Texas. Prior to moving to New Braunfels in 2014 she had lived in Corpus Christi since 1961. She was born June 21, 1931 in Seadrift, Texas to Samuel Scivally and Gladys Cook Scivally. Annie was a loving caregiver to her family and friends. She enjoyed gardening, bowling, her Pugs and her birds.
Annie was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Gladys Scivally; husband, Dewey Smith; son, Nathan Smith; brother, Samuel Scivally and sister, Grace West. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Charles Streeper; sister, Pearl S. Stapleton; several nieces, nephews and friends.
Teryl Taylor, Kody Taylor, Kory Taylor and Mike Pointer will be serving as pallbearers.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 28, 2016 in the Chapel at Memory Gardens Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. prior to services. Entombment to follow in the Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
