With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved son, Anthony Rodriguez, who was born on January 11, 1995, in Corpus Christi, Texas, and passed away on April 23, 2026, in Corpus Christi, Texas. Anthony a USMC disabled veteran whose life was tragically cut short, while battling mental health and PTSD, leaving behind a deep void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Anthony lived with a vibrant spirit and a heart full of life. He embraced the world with energy, kindness, and a warmth that made everyone around him feel welcome. His smile, his laughter, and his love for dancing brought joy to so many, and those moments will forever be cherished.
Anthony had a love for life and adventure. He enjoyed skateboarding and rollerblading, always finding freedom in the things he loved. During a family vacation in 2010, he discovered snowboarding and quickly picked it up. He cherished simple moments-playing PlayStation with his mom, dad, and sisters, especially singing "Delilah" on SingStar. He loved spending time with his family and had a special place in his heart for all his animals, both living and those who had passed.
Family was the cornerstone of his life. He was deeply loved and cherished by his parents, Beatrice Coronado Rodriguez and Steven Anthony Rodriguez. He shared a strong and loving bond with his sisters, Stephanie (Tommy) Martinez and Amanda (Derek) Perez, and he was a devoted and loving uncle to Tommy Jr. and Kylie, who meant the world to him.
Anthony also held a deep love for his grandparents, Carmel and Flavio Jr. Coronado, and was surrounded by many loving uncles, aunts, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Eloisa Figueroa and Blas Rodriguez.

A Faith That Guided Him
Anthony carried his faith with him always. A powerful reflection of this was the scripture he chose to have tattooed on his chest:
"The Lord is my light and my salvation — whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life-of whom shall i be afraid?
- Psalm 27:1
