Antonio C. Carrisalez

He was born on January 17, 1948 in Gregory, Texas to the late Jose and Santos Carrisalez.

Tony worked at Bodine Scott and dedicated 30 years of service .He later partnered with his brother Jesse to own and operate A&J Insulation.

He was a member of Ss. Cyril and Methodius Church and belonged to SSCM Altar Society, Our Lady of Guadalupe Society and the Knights of Columbus #5919.

Tony was a devoted husband and everyone’s favorite uncle who also took on the role of Father and Grandfather. We will cherish his memory forever.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Alfredo Carrisalez and his mother-in-law, Carmen Carreon.

He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Rosario Carreon Carrisalez; children he raised as his own, Javier “Jay” Carreon and Family, Jessica, Alex and Max; Ricardo “Rick” Carreon, his wife Edelmira “Del” and family, Marissa and Clarissa. Also surviving are his brothers and sisters, Alicia Reyna, Jose Carrisalez, Mary Acuna, Jesse Carrisalez, Beatrice Heenan (Ray), Stella Morgan (Darrell), Olivia King, and Sue Carrizalez (Todd); sister-in-law, Adele Carrisalez and numerous nieces and nephews.

Public visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 and will continue at 6:00 p.m. at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Ss. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral mass to begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
