Antonio Flores (Tony) 89, passed away at home on Sunday, February 17, 2014. He was born to Candelerio Flores and Balbina Pena, April 13, 1924 in Robstown, Texas. He was the loving brother of 5 siblings.
Antonio served with pride as a World War II Veteran. He also retired from Ford Stamping Plant in Monroe, Michigan after 20 years. He was a member of the Latinos Club and loved to hang out with family and friends.
Antonio is survived by 2 brothers; Ray and Noe, 1 daughter, 5 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren and many other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Lupe Flores, mother, father, and 3 sisters. Antonio will be missed greatly.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening at Funeraria del Angel, 549 Cheyenne Street. Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Holy Family Church. Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Park with military honors.
