Antonio Santana Garcia

He was born on June 12, 1944, in Brownsville, Texas, to Antonio R. Garcia and Carolina S. Garcia.

In 1965, Antonio proudly enlisted in the United States Navy. Following his honorable discharge, he worked as a commercial painter, electroplater at the Corpus Christi Army Depot, and later at the American Bank Center. He also faithfully served as an altar server at Holy Family Catholic Church. In 2014, he proudly graduated from Roy Miller High School.

In 1973, Antonio married the love of his life, Blanca V. Garcia. Together, they raised four children and built a loving family in Corpus Christi. Antonio will be remembered for his devotion to his family, love of music and dancing, Catholic faith, and pride in serving his country and community. He was a member of the Veterans Band, the Patriots Band & Honor Guard of America, and the Knights of Columbus.

Antonio is survived by his beloved wife, Blanca V. Garcia; brother, Jose S. Garcia; children, Sandra Garcia, Irma Garcia, Antonio Garcia, and Mario Garcia; grandchildren, Jason R. Garcia, Brandon I. Garcia, Jacob D. Carrales, and Kaelyn R. Garcia; and great-grandson, Mason G. Garcia.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio R. Garcia and Carolina S. Garcia, and brothers, Mario S. Garcia and Alfonso S. Garcia.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 16, 2026, from 4:00–5:00 p.m. for immediate family and from 5:00–8:00 p.m. for family, friends, and the public at Memory Gardens Funeral Home in Corpus Christi. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 17, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church, officiated by Father Bill Marquis. Interment will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.

The Garcia family gratefully thanks everyone for their prayers, love, and support. Antonio’s legacy of faith, family, music, and service will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
