Araceli Zamora De Padron

Araceli Z. Padron was born in Piedras Negras, Coahuila on January 2, 1961 to Javier Zamora and Eva Maria Ruiz. She passed away after a courageous four month battle against Metastatic Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma on Tuesday, August 20, 2013. Her strong determination to fight this disease made her grow into a stronger woman than she already was. She fought this disease with all her might until she was unable to fight anymore with the support and love from her family. She was a caring, patient, courageous wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and teacher to all. She loved to sing, dance, and listen to music along with caring for her family. She was and will always be the rock that kept our family united.

Araceli is survived by her beloved husband of 33 years, Santiago Padron, her daughter, Araceli (Reynaldo) Garza; her sons, Santiago Padron, Jr. and Alex Joel Padron, and her grandson, Rey Eloy Garza. She also leaves behind her sisters, Mari (Juan Baltazar) Garcia, Silvia (Hector) Ramos, Azalea (Mario) Aguilar, Marissa (Antonio) Calderon, Sandra (Hector) Garcia, Deyanira (Angel) Zamora, and her brother, Javier (Blanca) Zamora.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Eva Maria Ruiz.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 23, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Funeraria del Angel Chapel on Cheyenne with a prayer service to be held at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A Chapel Service celebration will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Funeraria del Angel Chapel on Cheyenne with a burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
