

Armando “Mandy” G. Brambila, 75, of Corpus Christi, TX passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2024 surrounded by his loving wife, children and family. He was born on January 26, 1949 to Gabriel Brambila, Sr. and Sulema G. Brambila, who preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Martin C. Harwood; grandson, Juan Padilla II; and great-grandson, Jeremiah Mathew Rodriguez.
Armando was a proud U.S Army Veteran and retired from the Corpus Christi Army Depot and served as the President of the American Federation of Employees Union. He was also the current Treasurer of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association (NARFE). Armando will be remembered for his trust and faith in God, his generosity and his love of life. Most importantly, he was a loving and devoted husband, dad, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle. He is loved beyond words and will be missed immensely.
Left to cherish his precious memories, are his wife, Ovelia "Billie" Brambila; his five children, Armando Stephen Brambila (Maria Linda Brambila), Veronica Brambila-Moir (Jason Moir), Valerie Brambila-Macias (Gilbert Macias Sr.), Monica Brambila, Daniel Ray Brambila Sr. (Erica Brambila); and two stepchildren, Steven Garcia and Joanna "Jo" Garcia.
He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. He will also be missed by his brothers, Clifford Harwood and Gabriel Brambila, II (Francis Brambila); sisters, Martha DeLoa, Emily Brambila, and Josie Alanis (Ernest Alanis); and numerous nieces and nephews, all whom he loved dearly.
Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery, 9974 I-37, Corpus Christi, Texas. with full military honors.
Having the distinguished honor of serving as Pallbearers are Joseph Padilla, Stephen Brambila, Jr., Daniel Ray Brambila, Jr., Jordan Macias, Gabriel Macias, and Gilbert Macias, Jr.
Honorary pallbearers: Gavin Brambila, Jayden Brambila, and Aiden Brambila-Perales.
