

He is preceded in death by his mother, Eva Hinojosa; brothers, Daniel Hinojosa, Abel Hinojosa Sr; and nephew, Gabriel Hinojosa.
Left to cherish his memories are his children, Arnold (Jessica) Hinojosa Jr., Jeremy Michael (Ruby) Hinojosa, and Melanie Joy Hinojosa; Popo's precious grandchildren, Jennica K. Michael, Ian Alexander, Mia Joy and Camila Jane; and siblings, David (Shelley) Hinojosa and Yvonne (Lonnie) Garza.
Our dad will be fondly remembered as a loving kind hearted person that was a friend to everyone he met. He loved life and spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed traveling, reading, and barbequing for everyone while watching his favorite teams, the Astros, Cowboys, and Spurs. Since childhood, he enjoyed playing sports and passed his love of sports on to his children and grandchildren. He loved nature and being by the water, he especially enjoyed spending time with his son at the ranch and fishing with family and his favorite fishing partner, Mia Joy. To his grandchildren he leaves behind the lessons of having great faith, being courageous, and never giving up.

A public visitation will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm; a Rosary will be recited at 1:30 pm, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 pm at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel, 8200 Old Brownsville Rd., Corpus Christi, TX 78415. Services will conclude in the chapel.
