My papa was was as loving and caring as he was strong and stubborn. He loved life and lived it the best way he could. His most memorable phrase was “As long as I am alive my family will never go hungry!” Indeed he was a great provider, always thinking of his family. His greatest love in life was my mama. They always helped each other through the thick and thin. I will always remember how papa and mama would dance in the kitchen together spontaneously... Mama would be cooking and papa would pull her away from the stove and dance with her until the song was finished. His love was unconditional towards everyone. His hugs were the strongest, they made you feel safe and loved. If I could have just one more hug from my papa. As he said “Bear hugs.” Until we meet again in heaven - Bear hugs to you papa.

I will always remember my brother in law and I went jack rabbit hunting and later that evening he made some fresh pork skins, the best I’ve ever had. Arthur was a great person he loved his family. My deepest condolences to my sister Paulita and my nephews and niece Carmen.
