Arturo "Tudy" Rivera Jr.

Arturo “Tudy” Rivera Jr., 72, of Corpus Christi, Tx passed away on July 11, 2016. He was born November 11, 1943. He proudly served in the United States Army and Navy. Arturo retired from Corpus Christi Army Depot after 30 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Arturo and Hortencia Rivera; son, Francisco Coronado, brother, Raul Rivera, sister, Sylvia Losoya, and beloved wife of 43 years, Maria P. Rivera. Arturo is survived by his twin sister, Maria Valdez (Sammy) of Corpus Christi, Tx; sister, Hortencia Perez of Orange Grove, Tx, brother, Juan Rivera (Bruney) of Houston, Tx; children, Lucy Mireles (Eleazar) of Kingsville, Tx, Arturo Rivera lll of Houston, Tx; companion of many years, Irma Saenz; two sons, Jesse Rene Garcia and Joe Coronado; grandchildren, Julie Ann Morin (Juan Salazar), Julian Morin lll, Ashley Ann Garcia, Adan Morin (Alyssa Saenz); and 10 great grandchildren. A Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with an Evening Service to be held at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A Funeral Service will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. with Interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
