Augustine Gonzales, Jr. age 66, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on Sunday, May 29, 2022. Augustine was born October 21, 1955 in Mercedes, TX to Augustine Gonzales, Sr. and Mercedes Gonzales.
Augustine was an eternally devoted husband, beloved father, and cherished grandfather. He proudly worked at Corpus Christi Army Depot for over 30 years. He loved country music, the Dallas Cowboys, and spending time with his grandsons.
Augustine is survived by his dear wife, of 42 years, Mary Dell Gonzales; children, Augustine (Arianna) Gonzales, III, Jennifer Marie Gonzales, and Adam Ronald Gonzales.
Grandchildren: Jaxon, Andro and Axel Gonzales; Siblings: Richard (Lucy) Gonzales, Alex (Maria Luisa) Gonzales, Sandra (Jose) Cantu, Maribel Garza, Anabel Gonzales-Rowland, David (Veronica) Gonzales, Jesse (Hope) Quintana.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at Funeraria Del Angel-Everhart, 4901 Everhart Road, Corpus Christi, TX 78411. Funeral Service at 12:30 p.m. at Church of Latter Day Saints, 6630 Wooldridge Road, Corpus Christi, TX on Friday, June 10, 2022 with Interment to follow at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, June 10, 2022 at Seaside Cemetery, 4357 Ocean Drive, Corpus Christi, TX 78412.
