Aurelio Perez

Aurelio Perez beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend entered into eternal rest on May 25, 2016, age of 89. He left this world quietly surrounded in the love of his family. To the family he was a patriarch with a golden heart who provided unfailing love, support, comfort and guidance.

He was born on May 20, 1927 to Emilio and Benigna Perez in Jim Hogg County.

He proudly served our country in the United States Army during WorId War II. In the honor of his service family is requesting to wear red, white, and blue.

Aurelio is preceded in death by his wife Guadalupe Perez, daughter Aminta Saldana; sons, Octavio Luna and Fausto Delgado.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories sons, Arnoldo (Toni) and Homer (Nena) Luna, daughters, Susie L. (Qurinio) Saldana and Norma Rosie (Ruben) Hernandez. Also surviving are 61 grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Ss Cyril Methodius Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
