Julia Saucedo.
Aurora worked at Shoppers World Grocery, Albertson’s, and Farmers Market, in Corpus Christi, later moving to San Antonio, to be Mrs. CB Negley’s personal attendant for the last 25 years. Aurora was a beautiful and loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She will be remembered for her love of God and her family, her amazing cooking and love of gardening.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Gilberto and Julia Saucedo, her brother Arturo G. Saucedo, her son, Armando S. Rivera III, and nephew, Armando Chapa.
She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Jose R. Garza, son Marco A. (Maria) Rivera, grandson, Markie Rivera, great-granddaughter, Jordie Faith Rivera, sisters, Felipa S. Chapa, Diana (Juan) Hinojosa, sister-in-law, Bertha A. Saucedo, step-children, Yolanda and Javier, as well as
numerous nieces and nephews, and friends.
Aurora’s family wishes to thank the staff of Christus Spohn Hospice for their wonderful care and help during this past month.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at El Buen Pastor Methodist Church, 1762 15th St., Corpus Christi, Texas 78405. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. that same evening with Rev. Jose A. Torres officiating.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2016, at 10:00 a.m., at Funeraria Del Angel at 549 Cheyenne St., Corpus Christi, TX. Interment will follow at Memory Garden Cemetery.
