Aurora Garza Puente

Aurora is preceded in death by her parents, Frank O. and Christina M. Garza; brothers, Fred M., Robert M., Arturo M., and Raul M. Garza and sisters; Amparo G. Reyna and Ofelia G. Williams.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who dearly loved her family. She will be dearly missed. She attended Miller High School and continued her career as a Nurse’s Aid at Christus Spohn Memorial. She moved to Riverside, CA in 1966 and moved back to Corpus Christi in 2004.

She is survived by her husband, Gregorio Puente; son, Oscar Puente; daughter, Diana Gatlin (David); 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; siblings, Frank M. Garza (Dora), Audelia G. Longoria (Paul), Chris G. Pavesi (Phil), Becky Beltran, Esperanza Fernandez, Linda S. Longoria (Frank) and other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. A Chapel service will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at 10:00 am. Services will conclude in the chapel.
